Beacon Tech Research was built on a single, non-negotiable premise: associations deserve access to honest, unbiased intelligence when evaluating and selecting their technology partners. Every tool, every rating, every recommendation we publish reflects that commitment without exception.
We Do Not Accept Vendor Payments
Beacon Tech Research does not accept fees, commissions, referral payments, or any other form of compensation from AMS vendors or software providers in exchange for placement, favorable ratings, or preferred treatment in our platform. Our evaluations and ratings are earned — not purchased.
Enhanced Listings Are Available — and Fully Neutral
All vendors receive a standard directory listing at no cost. Vendors who choose to upgrade their listing for a fee receive enhanced visibility — such as expanded content, additional media, or prominent placement — but this commercial relationship has absolutely no bearing on how a vendor is rated or reviewed. Our scoring methodology is applied uniformly to every vendor, regardless of listing tier.
Advertising Is Clearly Disclosed
Beacon Tech Research may display advertising on its website. Any paid advertising content will always be clearly identified as such. Advertisers receive no influence over editorial content, vendor ratings, review summaries, or platform recommendations. The firewall between our commercial relationships and our research is absolute.
Ratings Are Data-Driven and Transparent
Our vendor ratings are derived from structured data, verified user reviews, and our proprietary research methodology — not from commercial relationships. We apply the same criteria to every platform in our database, and we stand behind those ratings publicly. If our methodology changes, we will say so.
We Work for Associations
Our clients are associations — not vendors. Our platform exists to give association professionals the independent intelligence they need to make confident, well-informed technology decisions. That mission guides every choice we make about how we collect, analyze, and present information.
